Andy Walmsley

Andy has been in creative studios since he broke out of school at 16, and has been an active part of Lancashire’s creative community for almost as long. From guest lecturing at the local university to various initiatives with the Design Council, he’s also the Creative Director and Owner of Wash Studio, as well as one of the Artistry House’s very own artists and co-founders.

Lynsey Thompson

Managing Director of Wash Studio and co-founder of the Artistry House, Lynsey has been working in the creative industry for over 15 years.  Having renovated her last two homes Lynsey got the bug for interior design, and wanted to use that experience to create a more inspiring workspace. Developing the Artistry House concept was an opportunity to explore that passion and to create a place for collaboration, creativity and art in every form.

Wash Studio

An award-winning ideas agency, Wash is one of the most respected creative studios in the north-west. From brand to film, interior to environment, they create work with purpose for clients large and small. Residents of the Artistry House since 2017 and collaborative to the core, Wash is a home to photographers, illustrators, animators, writers, filmmakers, typographers, developers, innovators, and mavericks – depending on the day's projects.

Keyhole Interiors

Led by Melinda Kiss, Keyhole Interiors is an interior design studio working on a variety of projects from private homes to commercial developments such as boutique hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars and holiday lets. Inspired by nature and with a clean and modern aesthetic, their work has been recognised around the North West.

Ben Hackett & Rachel Ovenden

Ben and Rachel are freelance creatives based in Preston. Along with their dog, Remy, they’re busy working on various projects around the North West. Ben works with a range of businesses, brands and agencies on brand, film & photography projects. While Rachel is a professional wedding photographer covering Lancashire, Manchester and beyond!

The British Institute of Contemporary Photography (BIPP)

A non-profit membership group for photographers across all disciplines, the British Institute of Professional Photography deliver training, events and an internationally-recognised qualification scheme, supporting their members across the world to hone their craft. Headed by CEO Martin Baynes, BIPP have been Artistry House residents since Spring 2019.
